Commander of the Galactic Federation 07th Platoon, Malkovich was Samus’s commanding officer during her time in the Federation Army. Despite her lack of respect for authority, Samus held a great respect for Adam, but the two parted on sour terms. The two reunited in Metroid: Other M, where the commander sacrificed himself to save Samus’s life.
