The stage is based on the Port Town Aero Drive race course featured in Blood Falcon's debut game, F-Zero X.
The battle conditions reference Blood Falcon's vehicle, the Blood Hawk, which features similar abilities with Captain Falcon's Blue Falcon vehicle, except with a higher speed stat.

Cloned from DNA stolen while Captain Falcon was hospitalized, Blood Falcon is an exact match for the legendary racer, under the direct control of the evil Black Shadow. His one and only purpose is to defeat the legendary racer, given the powerful Blood Hawk racing machine. Designed by Black Shadow’s BS Group, it increases boost power in comparison to the Blue Falcon, forcing it to forgo some grip ability.
