Hotheads are a rare enemy from Super Mario World which only appear in Wendy's Castle and the game's final level, hence the stage and music choices. They stick to floating platforms and roll along their grounds, walls, and ceilings; they retain this behavior as items in Smash, and spawn frequently in this fight. Pac-Man also represents Hotheads in this fight due to his round appearance, warm color scheme, and the fiery aura given to him by the Supersicy Curry.

First appearing in Wendy’s Castle from Super Mario World, Hotheads have become an iconic item in the Super Smash Bros. series. They act much the same in both series, moving around any platform they make contact with. Unique to Smash, they’ll grow bigger if you hit them, so try to power it up before you throw!
