Crocodile Cacophony
The brown King K. Rool's Blunderbuss allows him to wear a pirate hat, representing his pirate alter-ego, Kaptain K. Rool, who replaces his crown and cape with a pirate hat and a brown trench coat, respectively. The stage and music track represent The Flying Krock, a flying airship shaped like a crocodile where the first boss battle against Kaptain K. Rool takes place in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. The Invisibility rule applied to the King K. Rool puppet fighter at different intervals references Kaptain K. Rool's ability to turn himself invisible multiple times during the final phase of his first boss battle. King K. Rool's Blunderbuss is based on the weapon used primarily by Kaptain K. Rool, which allows him to damage the Kongs by shooting Kannonballs at them and vacuuming them up. Other trivia: In World of Light, the Kaptain K. Rool spirit on Dharkon's side of the Final Battle map matches with the Mipha spirit on Galeem's side; both King K. Rool and Mipha serve as royal members of a race of creatures associated with water.
