Known across Elibe as the Sword Demon, Karel was a bloodthirsty swordsman who killed his family to keep their techniques a secret known only to himself. He joins Eliwood’s army in order to get the chance to battle worthy opponents. 20 years later, Karel has suffered a great loss, calming his bloodlust. However, he can be convinced to join Roy against Bern by his niece, Fir.
