The purple Lucario represents Karin Kanzuki, a Japanese female martial artist who uses a mixture of multiple martial arts styles in combat. The stage represents Kanzuki Beach, a beachside stage which serves as Karin's DLC stage in Street Fighter V. The music track represents the musical theme of Cammy White, another female fighter with braided blonde hair similar to Karin. The third battle condition references Karin's Kanzuki style martial arts, which allows her to use a variety of speed to keep the opponents guessing before she strikes. Other trivia: This spirit's Grab type and Strong Throw ability further reference Karin's Kanzuki style martial arts, which allows her to use throw-based moves in her moveset.
Heiress of the Kanzuki Zaibatsu, Karin enrolled in high school to “observe the life of commoners.” It was there she met Sakura Kasugano and entered into the world of street fighting! A master of several martial arts, she fights to defend her family, her company, and the world itself, even once rallying a group of heroic fighters against Shadaloo. That said, she’s also not above a personal grudge match now and again.
