The stage and music track represent Dangerous Dinner, a volcanic stage in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, which features Landia as a boss. Other trivia: This spirit's Attack type references Landia's usage of powerful fire-based attacks during his boss battle. This spirit's Jump ↑ ability references Landia's ability to fly, which he uses during his boss battle and the boss battle against the Lor Starcutter.
Revered as the protector of Halcandra, Landia guards the Master Crown atop its head. Kirby and friends defeat the dragon, unaware of what it protects, allowing Magolor to take it for himself! The power of the artifact corrupts him, so Kirby and Landia spring into action, riding into battle together against Kirby’s possessed friend. However, after Magolor attacks Landia, Kirby and friends are forced to finish the fight on foot.
