The giant white Meta Knight represents the Masked Lumen, Balder's masked disguise in which he wears white and gold and wields a golden glaive. He can use Light Speed to move much faster, akin to slowing down time like the Timer item. The music track is used as the backing for Bayonetta 2's opening where it tells the legend of Aesir, a being whose evil half is trapped inside of Balder and eventually corrupts him.

So, if the Lumen Sages are meant to be extinct, who’s this mysterious fellow? Whoever he is, he’s trying to kill Loki, and he’ll have to go through Bayonetta first! Using a glaive and various magical abilities, he’s already quite the formidable foe on his own, but he can also call upon Angels to assist him in battle. Stand your ground and send him back to Paradiso!
