The stage represents the Final Destination stage from Super Smash Bros. for 3DS / Wii U, which serves as the location of Master Beast's boss battle in the game's Classic Mode at intensity 6.0 or higher. The Chain Chomp Assist Trophy enemy references one of Master Beast's attacks where it will jump into the background and lunge at the player with a powerful bite attack. The stamina battle condition references the boss battles against Master Core's different forms, which requires the player to damage them many times before they are defeated. The third battle condition references one of Master Beast's attacks where it will leap off-screen and body slam either side of the stage, causing it to tilt and the midair player to possibly spike.
