Long ago, Medusa and Palutena ruled Angel Land as forces of Dark and Light. While Palutena helped humanity grow, Medusa took a sadistic pleasure in making them crumble. Palutena punished Medusa by turning her into this hideous creature and imprisoning her in the Underworld. Vowing revenge, Medusa rallied the forces of the Underworld, defeated Palutena’s Army, and took over Skyworld.
