The Richter puppet fighter's green costume is based on Nathan Graves, a vampire hunter who wears a green uniform and uses the Hunter Whip as his main melee weapon. The stage's castle-like setting represents Camilla's Castle, the main setting of Castlevania: Circle of the Moon which features Nathan as the main playable character. The Timer item references the Stopwatch, a traditional sub-weapon in the Castlevania series which allows the player to slow down or stop time temporarily. The battle conditions references two Magic Items used by Nathan in Circle of the Moon: the Double necklace (which allows Nathan to perform extra jumps) and the Roc Wing (which gives Nathan higher jumping height).
A skilled vampire hunter working alongside his adopted father and brother, Morris & Hugh Baldwin. When a vampire named Camilla plots to resurrect Dracula, the trio storm her castle. However, Morris is captured, and the two boys are dropped into the catacombs below. Armed with the Hunter Whip, Nathan must climb back through the castle, slaying monsters and making use of arcane relics on the way.
