The green female Villager puppet fighter represents Paz Ortega Andrade, a young girl who is depicted wearing green boots. The cyan Giant R.O.B. minion fighter represents Metal Gear ZEKE, a giant Metal Gear robot hijacked and controlled by Paz near the end of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The stage represents the Barranquilla Coast of Colombia, the main setting of Peace Walker which features the debut appearance of Paz. The Bob-omb Festival hazard rains Bob-ombs from the sky, referencing how Metal Gear ZEKE fires and rains down missiles during Paz's boss battle. Other trivia: This spirit's Bob-omb Equipped ability references the two bombs implanted inside of Paz's body, one of which detonates in Ground Zeroes.
A young Costa Rican student, Paz has a passion for peace, hoping that the world can one day be without conflict. She finds herself embroiled in that conflict when she stumbles upon a CIA supply port, accidentally coming into the possession of classified information. She is captured and subsequently rescued by Big Boss’s forces, asking him to help end the brewing war.
