The indigo Sheik represents Rover, an anthropomorphic red-eyed cat with an indigo-and-white color scheme. The Villager minions reference their appearance as the main playable characters in the Animal Crossing series where Rover serves as the first character they meet. The stage represents the train, a mode of transportation featured in the beginning of Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: New Leaf where the player meets Rover. The music track represents the musical theme of Wild World which features the minor appearance of Rover.
Anyone en route to a new town is bound to cross paths with Rover. He’s quite the inquisitive kitty, asking all kinds of questions about the villagers he encounters. Be it something as simple as the date and time or deep introspections about their personality, Rover is bound to have a detailed picture of someone by the end of their conversation.
