The blue Bayonetta puppet fighter represents Shanoa, a curvaceous witch who features black hair, uses physical attacks, and can summon creatures during combat. The stage represents the cavernous underground areas beneath Dracula's Castle, one of the main settings of Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, which features Shanoa as the main playable character. The Heavy Wind hazard references the Pneuma glyph, a type of glyph used in Order of Ecclesia which allows Shanoa to conjure up a powerful wind attack that streaks across the floor. The third battle condition references Shanoa's usage of various acrobatic techniques in her moveset, which includes kick slides, drop kicks, and backflips to avoid enemy attacks. Bayonetta's Infernal Climax Final Smash uses the Climax Gauge, which fills up with glyphs before summoning Gomorrah, referencing the Back glyphs used by Shanoa, which allows her to summon creatures to assist her in combat. Other trivia: In World of Light, the Shanoa spirit on Dharkon's side of the Final Battle map matches with the Isaac spirit on Galeem's side; both characters are protagonists of their respective games who use magical abilities that are polar opposite from each other, with Shanoa using dark magic Glyphs.
Following the disappearance of the Belmont Clan, the Order of Ecclesia rose to the task of finding a way to fight Dracula. The Order invented glyphs, arcane symbols allowing the user to use magic or summon creatures. Using this ability, as well as her martial prowess, Shanoa quests to recover Dominus, the most powerful glyph, stolen by her one-time friend, Albus, and stop him from resurrecting Dracula.
