Lucina's navy outfit is based on Tharja, a young woman who wears a dark-colored dress and serves as a member of the party that Lucina belongs to. The music track is based on the theme song from Fire Emblem Awakening, which first features Tharja as a party member. The Poison Cloud hazard references Nosferatu, a default tome used by Tharja, which allows her to use black magic to continuously drain the enemy's HP. Other trivia: This spirit's Magic Attack ↑ ability further references Tharja's Dark Mage class, which allows her to cast dark magic and hexes.
Dark Mage of Plegia, Tharja refuses to fight for any cause she doesn’t believe in, abandoning her home nation to fight alongside the Ylissean Chrom and his Shepherds. Still, she’s not exactly sunshine and rainbows, having a jealous personality and a love for curses. Among her tomes is Nosferatu, which Robin can also use in Smash. It allows the user to heal themselves by draining the life from their foes.
