The music track is based on the theme song of the Butter Building stages in Kirby's Adventure, which features the Waddle Doo as an enemy.
The Zap Floor hazard references the Beam Copy Ability gained after inhaling the Waddle Doo, which allows the user to use electric-based attacks.

The master of the Beam ability, Waddle Doos resemble Waddle Dees quite a bit, aside from the obvious, unblinking eye. Unlike the Dees, they’ll attack Kirby directly, firing a short beam of energy out of that massive optical orb. Kirby can take the beam for himself with his copy ability, or even recruit the Doo as a guest star!
