Before she was a legendary bounty hunter, Samus was a soldier in the Galactic Federation Army under Commander Adam Malkovich. After Adam sacrificed his own brother, Ian, to save the lives of hundreds, despite Samus believing she had time to save him, Samus became disillusioned with the Federation and left to carve her own path.
