Mr. EAD

The red Giant Wario represents Mr. EAD, a large F-Zero pilot who bears a strong resemblance to Mario similar to Wario. The blue Giant R.O.B. minion represents Mr. EAD's vehicle, the Great Star, a giant blue machine created from his android brother. The stage is based on the Big Blue race course featured in Mr. EAD's debut game, F-Zero X. The second battle condition references the Great Star's heavyweight stat, which allows it to ram into the opponent pilot. Other trivia: This spirit's Dash Attack ↑ ability further references the Great Star's heavyweight stats, which allows it to ram into opponent pilots.

Mr. L

Mr. L tends to be associated with eerie and unsettling locations—the Woah Zone, the World of Nothing, and Castle Bleck—hence the stage being Luigi's Mansion with extra fog. He also prefers to fight with mechanical aid in the form of his Brobot, which is capable of a suction attack much like Luigi's Final Smash.
Mr. Sandman

Mr. Sandman

The red Donkey Kong represents Mr. Sandman, a dark-skinned boxer who, like Donkey Kong, is the strongest fighter in Punch-Out!! for the Wii. The Slumber Floor hazard references Mr. Sandman's dream-themed name, and his signature move, Dreamland Express, where he throws three consecutive uppercuts. The second battle condition references Mr. Sandman's raw strength, which he inputs into his Dreamland Express uppercuts. Other trivia: This spirit's Attack type and Fist Attack ↑ ability references Mr. Sandman's raw strength inputted into his boxing attacks. In World of Light, the Mr. Sandman spirit must be defeated in order to access the Little Mac fighter, referencing Mr. Sandman's title as World Circuit Champion before it was passed on to Little Mac.

Chef

Back in the days of the Game & Watch and the early NES years, there were a lot of games with short and simple titles—and at just four letters and one syllable, Chef is a prime example. It's all about flipping food on a frying pan without dropping any on the floor. Whether any of that food ever actually gets served to customers is a mystery... The Game & Watch series was a revolutionary experience in gaming when it first hit shelves in 1980 with titles such as Fire. Lion

Back in the day, there were a lot of kids into the Game & Watch series. Quite a few adults as well, honestly. This game was a popular pick, with players controlling two zookeepers as they tried to keep the lions from escaping. The built-in clock was great for keeping track of your time spent playing! In an era before the Game Boy, countless children were enthralled by Game & Watch systems. And plenty of grown-ups, too! This game, Lion, is one such title that often proved hard to put down. The aim is to use two zoo keepers to stop the lions escaping their cage. At least the built-in clock can help you keep track of the hours you've lost!

Game & Watch was first released in 1980, making the series the father of the Game Boy and Nintendo DS. Or maybe an older sibling? Game & Watch was a series of handheld video games that started in 1980, before even the Game Boy. In this game, you can play as the guy who starred in them, moving about in his quirky, oh-so-retro little way. He can string together some pretty powerful attacks but, unfortunately, being 2D makes him very easy to launch.

Mr. Game & Watch's Oil Panic special catches shots and turns them into oil. After catching three, the bucket will be full and you'll be able to throw oil all over your enemies. Some shots, like Samus's fully powered Charge Shot, will fill the bucket in one go! Throwing the oil you get from a shot like that can KO your foes in a flash!

Mr. Saturns are curious beings that speak their own language. They might not look it, but they're scientific geniuses! In this game, they tend to go for a stroll around the battlefield. Throwing one at an enemy won't do much damage, but Mr. Saturn will take out a shield very easily. Mr. Saturns are curious beings that speak their own language. They might not look it, but they're scientific geniuses! In this game, they tend to just do their own thing, but you can throw them to deal...a bit of damage. They're good at breaking shields, though, and make adorable noises when they do!
Oil Panic

Oil Panic

The Game & Watch Multi Screen series is the big, big brother of the Nintendo DS. One classic title was Oil Panic, which puts you in charge of a petrol station that's sprung a leak. As oil drips down on the upper screen, you've got to catch it in buckets on the lower screen or risk an angry customer with a face full of oil! Helmet

Helmet

Better than a regular ol' watch is Game & Watch. One of the classic titles is Helmet. Move from left to right, avoiding the falling tools. If you get hit, you'll fall down and lose your helmet. What kind of helmet falls off after only one hit?! Good thing this game is so fun you'll overlook that. As the name "Game & Watch" implies, these game devices also told the time. However, they were way more fun than regular old watches. This one, for example, has a game where you avoid the tools raining down from above. If you get hit, your helmet falls off and you fall over. A lot of good that helmet does...
Manhole

Manhole

No scrolling, only one stage, only a few sounds, and the age of 3D was nothing more than a twinkle in someone's eye. Nevertheless, this game was a blast at the time. In the Game & Watch title Manhole, you move a manhole cover back and forth so that the pedestrians can safely cross the road. What a simple yet fun game! It didn't have different levels. It didn't have scrolling. It didn't have any audio except for a few bleeps and bloops. It certainly didn't have 3D graphics. But "fun" – it had that in spades! In this classic Game & Watch, you cover up holes in the ground so passers-by don't fall in. You've got four buttons – one for each hole – and...that's it! Simple, eh?
Octopus

Octopus

The Game & Watch title Octopus featured a hero collecting treasure while avoiding a bothersome giant octopus's tentacles. Activate Mr. Game & Watch's Final Smash to transform him into that octopus! Of course, you can damage enemies by running into them, but you can do more damage by pressing the attack button to extend four arms and launch foes. In the original Octopus game, you had to avoid the octopus while salvaging treasure from the sea.

Mr. Game & Watch SMASH

A resident of a totally flat world, Mr. Game & Watch's frame-by-frame movement is distinctive. His image is known far and wide, and respected by gamers everywhere. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, he hurls sausages with his Chef technique. The random strength of his Judgment is determined by the number displayed; food appears on lucky 7.

Mr. Game & Watch SMASH (2)

A man of great stature in the world of Nintendo characters, Mr. Game & Watch is a comparatively light fellow and doesn't feature many powerful attacks. When he's in danger of falling, Fire calls out a rescue brigade to send him skyward once more. He can also catch missile weapons with Oil Panic; once he's caught three, he can dump the bucket on his foes.

Mr. Resetti

Prepare to receive a really long talking-to if you reset this game: the next time you play, Mr. Resetti will be waiting to deliver his best scolding. No matter what your intentions are, pressing the RESET Button will bring you face-to-face with this fervent character. Sometimes, the only way to shut him up is to apologize.
