Pit's mysterious, black-clad doppelgänger, Dark Pit. (Some call him Pittoo, but he really doesn't like that.) When he first appears, he immediately goes after both Pit and the Underworld Army. In Smash Bros., he uses moves a lot like Pit's, though both his bow and his Sacred Treasures are different.
Dark Pit
Dark Pit's Guardian Orbitars special puts up shields of light on either side of you to block attacks, deflect projectiles and push back any enemies who are too close. You can even use the shields to protect against attacks coming from slightly above or below you. If they take too many hits, though, they'll vanish and become unusable for a while.

Dark Pit debuted in Kid Icarus: Uprising, released in 2012. Created by the Mirror of Truth, he has the same abilities as Pit but a different personality.
Dark Pit appears in Kid Icarus: Uprising. He was created by the Underworld Army's Mirror of Truth. He's a copy of Pit, but was born incomplete. Palutena gave him the nickname Pittoo.
This divine weapon from Kid Icarus: Uprising was a prototype for the Palutena Bow. In that game, it had the unusual trait of doing more damage when fired from close range.
Compared to those from Pit's Palutena Bow, these arrows disappear more quickly and can't be steered as much. But they deal more damage in return.
Dark Pit charges forward and launches foes upward with great force at a lower angle than Pit's Upperdash Arm. This move also deals electrical damage.
This Final Smash shoots in a straight line, going through foes and terrain. If it hits more than one opponent, the closer foes will take more damage.
Pit and Dark Pit are similar in some ways, but they both summon different weapons and both celebrate victory to a different tune.
